曇度、慧記、道登並從淵受業。慧記兼通數論，道登善《涅槃》、《法華》，並為魏主元宏所重，馳名魏國。

Tandu, Huiji, and Daodeng all received their instruction from Sengyuan. Huiji was additionally versed in the counting-treatises, and Daodeng was skilled in the Nirvāṇa and Saddharmapuṇḍarīka; both were held in high esteem by Yuan Hong, ruler of Wei, and were famous throughout the state of Wei.
