時有宋熙寺法欣、延賢寺智敞、法冏、建元寺僧護、僧韶，皆比德同譽。欣、敞並善經論，法冏兼精律部，韶、護以《毘曇》著名。

At that time there were Faxin of Songxi Temple, Zhichang and Fajiong of Yanxian Temple, and Senghu and Sengshao of Jianyuan Temple, all of whom matched him in virtue and renown. Xin and Chang were both skilled in scriptures and treatises; Fajiong was also thoroughly versed in the Vinaya section; and Shao and Hu were famous for the Abhidharma.
