順為人謙虛恭恪，形器若神，風軌嚴厲，動無失厝。故士庶瞻禮，常有懼焉。以天鑒六年卒于山寺，春秋六十一。

As a person, Zhishun was humble, respectful, and reverent; his demeanor was extraordinary, and his conduct and discipline were strict, with no impropriety in any movement. Therefore, whenever scholar-officials and commoners looked upon him and paid homage, they often felt awe. In the sixth year of the Tianjian era he died at the mountain temple, at the age of sixty-one.
