遺風眇漫，法浪邅迴。匪伊釋哲，
孰振將頹？潛安比玉，遠叡聯瓌。
鐇斧曲戾，彈沐斜埃。素絲既染，
承變方來。

The lingering tradition was vast and vague; / the waves of Dharma turned round and round. / If not for those wise Buddhist masters, / who could have raised what was about to fall? / Qian and An were like jade; / Yuan and Rui were joined gems. / The broad axe corrects the crooked; / the wash removes stray dust. / Once the plain silk is dyed, / it receives the transformation destined to come.
