「蕭哉若人，飄然絕塵。外軌小乘，
內暢空身。玄象暉曜，高步是臻。
飡茹芝英，流浪巖津。」
'How serene was this man, / drifting free, cut off from the dust! / Outwardly he observed the model of the Hīnayāna, / inwardly he realized the body of emptiness. / As celestial signs shone bright, / his lofty steps arrived here. / Feeding on the essence of fungi, / he roamed along cliffs and shores.'
