Ji's disciples Senghang, Huixu, and Daohui were all profoundly accomplished in their studies; they successively gave lectures and each led disciples, continuing along the tracks of their predecessor. Later, the śramaṇa Huiliang took over the duties of monastic administrator. After Liang died, next came the śramaṇa Huiyong. Yong's appearance and demeanor were exquisite and elegant, and his virtuous conduct was pure and strict; he too handled the various sūtras with great facility, often lecturing on them. After Yong, next came the śramaṇa Huishen, who was also a disciple of Ji. Shen, along with his fellow student Fahong, was highly esteemed for the purity of his precepts. After Shen, next came the śramaṇa Tanyu, who was also composed, prudent, and possessed of broad capacity.
