系曰：藏隱五老峯時，二仙來終日談論者，何？通曰：「昔劉向輯《列仙》云：『若干人見于內典歟。』又裴、周、桐栢三真人弟子，各半學佛法，可非來問道乎？《詩》中草蟲之應阜螽同也。」

Appraisal: When Zang was in seclusion at the Five Elders Peak, why did two immortals come to converse with him all day? The answer to resolve this is: "Formerly, Liu Xiang compiled the Liexian [zhuan] and stated: 'A certain number of people appear in the Buddhist scriptures.' Moreover, among the disciples of the three perfected ones—Pei, Zhou, and Tongbo—half of each studied the Buddha's Dharma; could they not have come to inquire about the Way? This is just like the crickets responding to the grasshoppers in the Classic of Poetry."
