系曰：西域喪禮，其太簡乎？或有國王酋長，傾心致重者，勿過舁之火葬。若東夏僧用鹵簿導喪車，罕聞之矣。嗚呼！道尊德貴，不言而邀，此不其盛歟！

Appraisal: Are funeral rites in the Western Regions not overly simple? Even when kings and chieftains hold someone in the deepest and highest esteem, it amounts to nothing more than carrying them out for cremation. But for a monk of the Eastern Xia to have an imperial guard of honour lead his funeral carriage—such a thing has rarely been heard of. Alas! Where the Way is venerable and virtue noble, they invite reverence without saying a word; how magnificent is this!
