三、亦胡亦梵。如天竺經律傳到龜茲，龜茲不解天竺語，呼天竺為印特伽國者，因而譯之。若易解者，猶存梵語，如此胡、梵俱有者是。

Third, both Hu and Sanskrit: as when the sūtras and vinaya of India reached Kucha, and Kucha, not understanding the Indian language, called India Intojia and translated accordingly; yet where it was easy to understand, Sanskrit words were still retained; such cases where both Hu and Sanskrit are present are this.
