二、重譯。如經傳嶺北樓蘭、焉耆，不解天竺言，且譯為胡語，如梵云「鄔波陀耶」，疎勒云「鶻社」，于闐云「和尚」。又「天王」，梵云「拘均羅」，胡云「毘沙門」是。

2. Re-translation: as when sūtras spread to Loulan and Yanqi north of the mountains, where they did not understand the Indian language and first translated them into Hu languages; for instance, Sanskrit upādhyāya is husha in Kashgar and heshang in Khotan. Also, for 'Heavenly King', the Sanskrit is Kuvera, and the Hu is Pishamen (Vaiśravaṇa); such are cases of this.
