The appraisal says: Kāśyapa, hearing King Nala play music three times, danced three times. If not habitual tendencies, what else could it be? Formerly, Guo Binyang was able to punish rebels for the state and rescue the people from dire straits. Now, as Foguang, residing in the monastery for merely three days, he promptly captured the band of bandits. Could this not have been caused by habitual tendencies? Observing him wearing white robes, riding a yellow calf, playing a flute, and wandering Luoyang, claiming that atop the crown of Vairocana he had another practice—this too is inconceivable!
