履信。不知何人。操業高潔。略與照同。莫逆至交。亟積寒暑。照既淪化。慨恨莫追。遂振策徂南。增修禪觀（云云）。

Luxin, whose background is unknown, was lofty and pure in his conduct, roughly matching Zhao. They were intimate friends through thick and thin, spanning many winters and summers. After Zhao passed away, Luxin lamented that he could not follow him; thereupon, shaking his staff, he went south to cultivate meditation further (and so forth).
