釋慧稠。是顗禪師門人。誦華嚴經六十卷。誦法華經萬遍感山神為添香散華矣。
Shi Huichou was a disciple of Chan Master [Zhiyi]. He recited the sixty-fascicle Avataṃsaka-sūtra and recited the Lotus Sūtra ten thousand times, evoking mountain spirits to add incense and scatter flowers for him.
