釋弘景。是道素門人。誦法華經。普賢乘象而來授句逗。天童潛來侍。具如本傳說。
Shi Hongjing was a disciple of Daosu. He recited the Lotus Sūtra, and Samantabhadra, riding an elephant, came to bestow upon him punctuation and phrasing, while heavenly boys secretly came to attend him, fully as related in his original biography.
