天德二年（歲次戊午）四月二十九日（庚辰木曜觜宿）延曆寺度海沙門日延（大唐吳越州稱日賜紫惠光大師）勸導傳持寫之傳焉。
On the twenty-ninth day (gengchen, Thursday, Pleiades mansion) of the fourth month in the second year of Tentoku (cyclical year wuwu), Nichien, a śramaṇa of Enryaku-ji who crossed the sea (in the Great Tang's Yuezhou known as Great Master Nichi Shishi Huiguang), exhorted and transmitted this, copying and conveying it.
