裴氏貞觀年中。因僧教念佛。用小豆為數。念滿三石。自知生處。遍辭親知。後如法裝飾念佛終。往生極樂。

Lady Pei, during the Zhenguan era, was taught by a monk to be mindful of the Buddha, using small beans to count, completing three piculs of recitations. Knowing her place of rebirth in advance, she bade farewell everywhere to relatives and friends. Afterwards, properly adorned according to the Dharma, she passed away in buddhamanasikāra, attaining rebirth in Sukhāvatī.
