Lady Liang was a native of Haozhou. Both of her eyes were blind. Because a monk exhorted her to be mindful of Amitābha Buddha, after receiving the instruction, she practiced unceasingly for three years. Both eyes opened, as was witnessed by all the villagers. When abandoning her lifespan, she saw the Buddha and bodhisattvas come in welcoming descent. After she passed away, the bodhisattvas together erected a stūpa and shrine for her. Passersby all revered it, and all the men and women of the whole commandery turned their hearts to buddhamanasikāra.
