此傳也渡此土久焉。未見板行肆行世。希有焉。適於南京。唐本一部。與頑魯請城南僧如羊上人。俾加和點所開板也。

This biography crossed over to this land long ago. It has not been seen in printed editions circulating in the world, and was rare. It happened that in the Southern Capital, a Tang text was obtained, and with obstinate clumsiness, we requested the venerable monk Ruyang from south of the city to add Japanese reading marks (kunten) and carve the printing blocks.
