贊曰。或謂銀臺至而復隱。金臺誓而重來。何得果報無憑。由人揀擇。通曰。此正謂萬法由心隨感而應者也。且火車已現。十念而得往生。天眾來迎。矢心而歸淨土。善惡聖凡之相。隔尚可轉業須臾。況金銀幾希間耶。

The appraisal says: Some say that when the silver dais arrived it vanished again, and when the golden dais was vowed for, it came in return; how could the karmic retribution be without certainty, allowing a person to choose? I reply: This is precisely what is meant by 'the ten thousand dharmas arise from the mind, responding according to sympathetic resonance.' Moreover, when the fiery chariot had already appeared, rebirth could still be attained through ten recitations; when heavenly hosts came to welcome, by steeling the mind one returned to the Pure Land. Though the marks of good and evil, holy and ordinary, are vastly separated, karma can still be transformed in an instant—how much more so in the slight difference between gold and silver?
