贊曰。岸之事無惑矣。彼童子非久積淨業。胡脫化之神異噫。爾不見十念成功乎。不然則宿世善根熟耳。修淨業者。或今身不克往生。觀此可以自慰。

The appraisal says: There is no doubt about An's case. But if that boy had not long accumulated pure karma, how could he have undergone such a miraculous and extraordinary transformation? Ah, have you not seen that ten recitations accomplish success? If not, then his good roots from past lives had merely ripened. For those cultivating pure karma who might not achieve rebirth in this present life, observing this can bring self-consolation.
