唐法祥。住楊都大興國寺。三十年修安養之業。凡有饒益。必用迴向。因疾弟子。聞祥稱佛聲甚厲。又見房西壁有光若鏡。現淨土相頻伽鼓翼。乃倏然而化。

Faxiang of the Tang resided at Daxingguo Monastery in the capital of Yang. For thirty years he cultivated the practices for Peaceful Nourishment. Whatever beneficial deeds he performed, he always dedicated the merit. Because of illness, his disciples heard Xiang chanting the Buddha's name with an extremely piercing voice. They also saw light on the western wall of the room like a mirror, displaying the marks of the Pure Land with kalaviṅkas flapping their wings; he then swiftly passed away.
