宋淨觀。住嘉禾寂光庵。修淨土懺法十餘年。謂弟子曰。我後二十七日行矣。至期二日前。見紅蓮花。次日又見黃花滿室。皆有化生孩兒。坐於花上。仙帶結束。三日入龕端坐。命眾念佛。頃之脫去。

Jingguan of the Song dynasty lived at Jiguang Hermitage in Jiahe. He cultivated the Pure Land repentance ritual for more than ten years. He said to his disciples: 'I will depart after twenty-seven days.' Two days before the appointed time, he saw red lotus flowers; the next day, he saw yellow flowers filling the room again, and on all the flowers were apparitional children seated upon them, bound with celestial ribbons. On the third day, he entered the niche, sat upright, and bade the assembly practice buddhamanasikāra. In a short while, he passed away.
