元善住。字雲屋。蘇人。掩關六時念佛。病久不易。終時異香滿室。有安養傳谷響集行世云。

Shanzhu of the Yuan, courtesy name Yunwu, was a native of Suzhou. He shut himself in retreat and practiced buddhamanasikāra throughout the six intervals of the day; even during prolonged illness, he did not waver. At the time of his passing, an extraordinary fragrance filled the room. His Account of Peaceful Nourishment and Echo Collection circulate in the world.
