贊曰。遠公三覩聖相而不言。珍公池降銀臺而默記。古德之厚重類如此。彼淺丈夫者。纔有少異。曉曉自鳴。小則失其所有。大則增其魔事矣。可弗慎諸。

In praise we say: Venerable Yuan beheld the sacred signs three times without speaking; Venerable Zhen had a silver dais descend to his pond and recorded it in secret. The solid depth of ancient masters of virtue was usually like this. Those shallow fellows, as soon as they experience the slightest marvel, noisily proclaim it themselves; at least, they lose what they possessed, and at worst, they augment their demonic entanglements. How could one not be cautious?
