宋沈銓。家錢唐。同妻施氏。專心淨土。平時諸善悉用回向。後及妻前後命終。皆感化佛。持錫接引而去。

Shen Quan of the Song dynasty had his home in Qiantang. Together with his wife, Lady Shi, he focused his mind exclusively on the Pure Land, dedicating all ordinary good deeds toward it. Later, he and his wife successively ended their lives; both had a sympathetic resonance of a nirmāṇabuddha holding a monk's staff coming to guide them away.
