宋尼能奉。錢塘人。專修淨業。甞夢佛光照身。及聞空中善言開慰。告其徒曰。吾往生時至。少頃聞奉念佛聲甚厲。奔往視之。則合掌面西坐逝矣。異香滿室。樂音西邁。

The Song nun Nengfeng was a person of Qiantang. She exclusively cultivated pure karma. She once dreamed that the Buddha's light illuminated her body, and heard good words from the sky bringing solace and comfort. She told her disciples, "The time of my rebirth has arrived." A short while later, they heard Nengfeng's voice chanting the Buddha's name with great intensity. They rushed to look, and she was already seated facing west with palms joined, having passed away. A wondrous fragrance filled the room, and the sound of music traveled toward the west.
