唐溫靜文妻。并州人。久患在床。靜文勸令念佛。一年忽覩淨土。告其夫云。我已見佛。後月當去。囑父母云。今得隨佛往生。願專心念佛。他日西方相見耳。言訖而逝。

In the Tang dynasty, the wife of Wen Jingwen was a person of Bingzhou. Bedridden with long illness, Jingwen urged her to practice buddhamanasikāra. After one year, she suddenly beheld the Pure Land and told her husband, "I have already seen the Buddha; next month I shall depart." She exhorted her parents, saying, "Now that I am able to follow the Buddha in rebirth, I hope you will single-mindedly practice buddhamanasikāra so that we may meet one day in the Western Direction." Having spoken, she passed away.
