宋周行婆。太平州人。早年念佛。精專弗替。一夕胡跪念佛。泊然而化。隣人見數僧引婆騰空西去。

In the Song dynasty, Old Woman Zhou was a person of Taiping Prefecture. In her early years she practiced buddhamanasikāra with single-minded devotion and never faltered. One evening, kneeling in the foreign manner and chanting the Buddha's name, she serenely passed away. Her neighbors saw several monks leading the old woman as they soared into the sky toward the west.
