菩薩處胎經云。有一龍子。謂金翅鳥曰。我自受龍身。未曾殺生。觸嬈水性。壽終之後。當生阿彌陀佛國。
The Sūtra on the Bodhisattva in the Womb states: There was a nāga child who said to a garuḍa: 'Since I received the body of a nāga, I have never taken life or troubled the water creatures. After my lifespan ends, I will be born in the land of Amitābha Buddha.'
