贊曰。邦華好學天植。書無所不讀。已獨潛心於內典。又獨加意於內典之淨土法門。其臨沒也。謂彌陀經功德不可說。而三稱之。見之真故。言之切也。仲兄嘉祚。傳其事。而矢之曰。予所誑語墮拔舌獄。其亦見真而言切歟。不信淨土者可思已。

The eulogy says: Banghua's love for learning was an innate endowment; there was no book he did not read. Subsequently he devoted himself exclusively to the inner scriptures, and furthermore paid special attention to the Pure Land dharma-gate among the inner scriptures. As he was about to pass away, he said the merits of the Amitābha Sūtra are ineffable, repeating it thrice. Because his vision was true, his words were earnest. His second elder brother, Jiazuo, transmitted his deeds and swore an oath: 'If I have spoken deceitfully, may I fall into the Tongue-Plucking Hell.' Did he not also see the truth and speak earnestly? Those who do not believe in the Pure Land may well ponder this!
