宋王衷。嘉禾人。結社西湖。不問賢愚貴賤僧俗。但願往生者。普請入社。有勸修文行世。後無疾西向坐化。

Wang Zhong of the Song dynasty was a native of Jiahe. He formed an association at West Lake, admitting anyone who merely wished for rebirth, regardless of whether they were wise or foolish, noble or base, monastics or laity. He had an exhortation to practice that circulated in the world. Later, free of illness, he passed away seated facing the Western Direction.
