2.78

贊曰。老泉為薦先亡。曾於極樂院。造六菩薩像。而子由往來法門亦甚密邇。蓋蘇氏之歸心三寶素矣。世有刻西方公據者。增以俚語謂出自坡公。此誣也。具眼者勿因偽而併棄其真。

The appraisal says: Old Quan [Su Xun] once had six bodhisattva images made at Jile Monastery to dedicate them to his deceased ancestors, and Ziyou [Su Zhe] was also very close in his associations with the Dharma gate. Thus the Su family's taking refuge in the Three Jewels had long been established. In the world there are carved printings of the *Official Passport for the Western Direction* to which vernacular phrases have been added, claiming it stems from Lord Dongpo; this is a fabrication. Let those with eyes not reject the authentic together with the spurious.
