Wu Zizhang of the Yuan dynasty was a native of Suzhou. His family had been physicians for generations. Together with his elder brother Zicai, he studied under Master Yunwu, practicing buddhamanasikāra with diligent zeal. His entire household revered the Dharma. During the Zhizheng reign, without illness, he joined his palms, invoked the Buddha's name, and passed away.
