1.83

師說偈已。入師子奮迅三昧。踊身虛空高七多羅樹。却復本坐化火自焚。婆須蜜收靈骨貯七寶函。建浮圖寘于上級。即襄王十七年甲申歲也（當作十五年）。

After the Master spoke the gāthā, he entered the Lion's Swift Samādhi, leaped into empty space to the height of seven tāla trees, and then, returning to his original seat, transformed into fire and incinerated himself. Vasumitra collected the sacred bones, placed them in a casket of the seven jewels, and erected a stūpa, placing them on the upper tier. It was the seventeenth year of King Xiang, a *jiashen* year (it should be the fifteenth year).
