鎮州大悲和尚有僧問。除上去下請師便道。師曰。我開口即錯。僧曰。真是學人師。師曰。今日向弟子手裏死。

Upādhyāya Dabei of Zhen Prefecture. A monk asked, "Leaving aside 'going up' and 'going down', please speak immediately, Master." The Master said, "If I open my mouth, it is wrong." The monk said, "You are truly a master to the student." The Master said, "Today I die at the hands of a disciple."
