福州普光和尚。有僧立次。師以手開胸云。還委老僧事麼。僧云。猶有遮箇在。師却掩胸云。不妨太顯。僧云。有什麼避處。師云。的是無避處。僧云。即今作麼生。師便打。

Upādhyāya Puguang of Fuzhou. A monk was standing by. The master opened his robe over his chest with his hand and said: "Do you understand this old monk's matter?" The monk said: "There is still this here." The master then covered his chest and said: "It is indeed too conspicuous." The monk said: "What hiding place is there?" The master said: "Truly there is no hiding place." The monk said: "What about right now?" The master then struck him.
