潭州谷山藏禪師。僧問。祖意教意是一是二。師曰。青天白日夜半濃霜。
Chan Master Cang of Gushan in Tanzhou. A monk asked, "Are the ancestral intention and the doctrinal intention one or two?" The master said, "Blue sky and bright sun; heavy frost at midnight."
