20.19

晉州大梵和尚。僧問。如何是學人顧望處。師曰。井底竪高樓。曰恁麼即超然也。師曰。何不擺手。

The upādhyāya of Dafan in Jinzhou was asked by a monk: "What is the place where a student looks out from?" The Master said: "Erecting a high tower at the bottom of a well." He said: "If so, then one is transcendent." The Master said: "Why not wave your hands?"
