嘉州東汀和尚。僧問。如何是却去底人。師曰。石女紡麻纑。曰如何是却來底人。師曰。扇車關𭢿良計斷。
Upādhyāya Dongting of Jiazhou. A monk asked, 'What is the person who departs?' The master said, 'A stone woman spins hemp yarn.' [The monk] said, 'What is the person who returns?' The master said, 'When the winnowing fan's axle breaks, the clever scheme is cut off.'
