23.37

時有朋彥上坐。躡前偈而問曰。如何是本來心。師召曰。朋彥。彥應諾。師曰。與老僧點茶來。彥於是信入（朋彥即廣法大師。後嗣天台國師。住蘇州長壽）師太平興國元年示滅。壽百有五歲。

At that time there was Sthavira Pengyan, who followed up on the previous verse and asked, 'What is the original mind?' The master called out, 'Pengyan!' Yan responded. The master said, 'Go make some tea for this old monk.' Thereupon Yan had faith and entered [the Way]. (Pengyan was the Great Master Guangfa; later he succeeded the National Preceptor of Tiantai and resided at Changshou in Suzhou.) The master manifested extinction in the first year of the Taiping Xingguo era, at the age of one hundred and five.
