澧州藥山忠彥禪師（第八世住）僧問。教云。諸佛放光明助發實相義。光明即不問如何是助發實相義。師曰。會麼。曰莫便是否。師曰。是什麼。問師唱誰家曲宗風嗣阿誰。師曰。雲嶺龍昌月神風洞上泉。

Chan Master Zhongyan of Yaoshan in Lizhou (eighth generation residing). A monk asked, “The teachings say: ‘All Buddhas emit great light to help reveal the meaning of the true mark.’ Not asking about the light, what is helping to reveal the meaning of the true mark?” The Master said, “Do you understand?” The monk said, “Is it just this, or not?” The Master said, “What is it?” The monk asked, “Whose song does the Master sing? Whose tradition of the school do you succeed?” The Master said, “The moon of Longchang above the cloudy peak; the spring of Dongshang in the divine wind.”
