24.26

及期日誡諸門人。吾滅後不得以喪服哭泣有亂規矩。言訖坐化。陳守傷歎盡禮送終。荼毘收靈骨於院之後山建浮圖。

When the day arrived, he admonished his disciples: "After my passing, you must not wear mourning clothes or weep and wail to disorder the regulations." Having spoken, he sat and passed away. Prefect Chen lamented with grief and carried out the funeral with full rites, cremated him, gathered the sacred relics, and built a stūpa on the mountain behind the cloister.
