24.35

處州福林澄和尚。僧問。如何是伽藍。師曰。勿幡㡧。曰如何是伽藍中人。師曰。瞻禮即有分。問下堂一句請師不悋。師曰。閑吟唯憶龐居士。天上人間不可陪。

Upādhyāya Cheng of Fulin in Chuzhou. A monk asked, "What is a saṅghārāma?" The Master said, "No banners or hangings." [The monk] said, "Who is the person within the saṅghārāma?" The Master said, "If one gazes and pays homage, then there is a share." [The monk] asked, "A phrase upon descending from the hall—please do not begrudge it, Master." The Master said, "Chanting at leisure, I remember only Upāsaka Pang; between heaven and the human world, none can match him."
