潤州慈雲匡達禪師僧問。佛以一大事因緣故出現於世。未審和尚出世如何。師曰。恰好。曰作麼生。師曰。不好。

Chan Master Kuangda of Ciyun in Runzhou. A monk asked, "Because of one great matter as a cause and condition, the Buddha appeared in the world. I wonder, how is the Upādhyāya's appearing in the world?" The master said, "Just right." The monk asked, "In what way?" The master said, "Not good."
