26.70

婺州智者寺全肯禪師。初參天台。天台問。汝名什麼。曰全肯。天台曰。肯箇什麼。師乃禮拜。住後有僧問。有人不肯。師還甘也無。師曰。若人問我即向伊道。師太平興國中以住持付法嗣弟子紹忠繼世說法。尋於本寺歸寂。

Chan Master Quanken of Zhizhe Temple in Wuzhou initially called upon Tiantai. Tiantai asked, "What is your name?" He said, "Quanken (Completely Affirming)." Tiantai said, "What do you affirm?" The master then bowed. After he became an abbot, a monk asked, "If someone does not affirm, is the master still content or not?" The master said, "If someone asks me, I speak to him." During the Taiping Xingguo era, the master entrusted the abbacy to his Dharma heir Shaozhong to succeed him in preaching the Dharma. Soon after, he returned to silence at his temple.
