溫州瑞鹿寺上方遇安禪師福州人也。得法於天台。又常閱首楞嚴了義。時謂之安楞嚴也。至道元年季春月將示滅。有法嗣弟子蘊仁侍坐。師乃說偈曰。

Chan Master Yu'an of Shangfang at Ruilu Temple in Wenzhou was a native of Fuzhou. He attained the Dharma under Tiantai, and also frequently read the definitive meaning of the Śūraṅgama; people at that time called him 'An Śūraṅgama.' In the last month of spring in the first year of the Zhidao era, when he was about to manifest extinction, his Dharma heir disciple Yunren was attending him. The master then spoke a verse, saying:
