九峯和尚入江西城。人問入𮠔教化以何為眼。九峯曰。日月不曾亂（法眼別云。待有眼）。

When Upādhyāya Jiufeng entered the city of Jiangxi, someone asked, "Entering the bustling city to teach and transform, what do you take as your eye?" Jiufeng said, "The sun and moon have never been confused." (Fayan spoke alternatively: "Wait until you have eyes.")
