學道蒙師詣却閑。無中有路隱人間。饒君講得千經論。一句臨機下口難。

Studying the Way, through the master's instruction one reaches leisure; / In the midst of nothingness there is a path concealed in the human realm. / Though you might expound a thousand sūtras and treatises, / Facing the crucial moment, a single phrase is hard to utter.
