雖然僻執不風流。懶出松門數十秋。合掌有時慵問佛。折腰誰肯見王侯。電光夢世非堅久。欲火蒼生早晚休。自蘊本來靈覺性。不能暫使挂心頭。

Though my obstinate attachment lacks refined elegance, / I have been too lazy to leave the pine gate for several decades. / Joining my palms, at times I am too sluggish to inquire of the Buddha; / Bending my waist, who would be willing to visit princes and nobles? / The dream-world of lightning-flashes is not solid or lasting; / When will the fire of desire among common folk ever cease? / Possessing within oneself the original marvelous awakening nature, / One cannot let it hang in one's mind for even a moment.
