祖月禪風集寶林。二千餘載道堪尋。雖分西國與東國。不隔人心到佛心。迦葉最初傳去盛。慧能末後得來深。覽斯頓悟超凡眾。嗟彼常迷古與今。

The Patriarchal moon and Zen winds gather in the Baolin [Record]; / For more than two thousand years the Way could be sought. / Though divided into Western and Eastern lands, / There is no gap between human mind reaching Buddha-mind. / Kāśyapa first transmitted it widely; / Huineng at the end attained it profoundly. / Reading this, one is suddenly enlightened and transcends the common crowd; / Alas for those who are ever deluded in both past and present!
